MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • Proven QA / Tester experience with focus on API and integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Fineos Claims Management System (API, workflows, data model).
  • Hands-on expertise with REST API testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).
  • Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation.
  • Strong understanding of data validation techniques.
  • Prior experience in the insurance/claims domain.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Familiarity with SAP, CPAY, FileNET, or CoFax.
  • Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
  • Agile/Scrum experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–6 years of professional QA / testing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record testing enterprise integrations and APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced QA / Tester specializing in Fineos and API integrations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of mission-critical integrations with Fineos Claims Management and AWS-based data flows.
This is a long-term role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about delivering quality in enterprise insurance systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, document, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for Fineos Claims API integrations.
  • Validate API functionality, data transformations, and mappings across AWS-based pipelines.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Implement and maintain automated API/data validation suites (Postman, REST Assured, PyTest, etc.).
  • Monitor data quality, integrity, and security (PII compliance).
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to define acceptance criteria.
  • Troubleshoot issues, document defects, and support resolution.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, CI/CD testing, and automation frameworks.
