Job Description The Quality Assurance Engineer supports R&D projects by evaluating development deliverables, monitoring compliance with project quality requirements, and driving process assurance activities aligned with ASPICE / Automotive SPICE. This role works closely with engineering teams to strengthen development quality, improve process compliance, and support continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle. Main Responsibilities Evaluate all project deliverables and relevant R&D activities to assess quality status. Verify that project deliverables meet defined quality criteria. Advise the R&D team on achieving project quality objectives. Monitor the planning and execution of quality assurance activities. Evaluate process compliance and ensure completion of the required project quality assurance report (QA Report) deliverables. Measure the use and effectiveness of stages to support ASPICE process improvement activities and methods. Plan and facilitate lessons learned workshops based on R&D quality status. Collaborate and perform activities in accordance with industrial safety guidelines within the plant. Maintain a general understanding of the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related engineering field. Advanced English is required; German is considered a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D. At least 1 year of experience in ASPICE consulting, assessment, evaluation, or management. Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or electronics industries is preferred. Strong knowledge of ASPICE / Automotive SPICE is required.
