Your tasks

• Planning, execution and documentation of manual end-to-end tests based on technical requirements
• Creation and maintenance of structured test cases and test scenarios
• Maintenance and further development of a functional system overview as a basis for a comprehensible regression testing strategy
• Ensuring traceability between requirements, functionalities and test cases (Requirement Traceability)
• Analysis of changes and identification of the affected functionalities for targeted planning of regression tests.
• Critical review of requirements regarding completeness, user flows and edge cases already during test case creation.
• Conducting exploratory tests to identify functional weaknesses
• Functional testing of our web and mobile applications
• Creation and execution of API tests, for example with Postman test suites, against defined test environments
• Documentation and tracking of errors until they are corrected.
• Supporting our Tech Lead in the preparation and quality assurance of releases
• Continuous improvement of our QA processes, testing methods and quality standards

Your profile

• Initial practical experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• A structured, meticulous and independent work style
• Analytical thinking skills and a strong awareness of quality
• Enjoyment in critically questioning requirements and understanding functional relationships.
• Experience with manual software testing
• Ideally, you have some prior experience with API testing, for example with Postman.
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
