What we're looking for: We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to drive manual and automated testing within Prime Video Sports across a broad technology stack. This role involves deep involvement on projects from design to development & deployment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of the Prime Video Sports customer experience. Successful candidates for this position demonstrate ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable automated tests, find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally. What you will do here: You will work with groups such as Product Management, UX designers to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. You will also work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. In this role, you will be responsible to deliver manual/automated solutions to test customer facing features. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases. 2. Bug Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects. 3. Automation tooling: Develop, extend, and maintain automated tests on iOS, Android, Web, and Living Room Clients to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of quality throughout the development lifecycle. 5. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.
