Description

Conduct manual and exploratory testing of the product. Responsible for the execution of manual and automation test cases (scripts) that ensure comprehensive testing Work in a Scrum team using Agile best practices Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing with instruction of how to reproduce each Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Development, Product Management, Professional Services and external clients Participate in improving processes, automation and QA integration to DevOps culture Required: Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and a passion for Quality Assurance A continuous learner, with knowledge of current industry-standard automation testing techniques and the drive to share knowledge with your colleagues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time and risk management skills Team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working with multiple teams The ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines Passionate about understanding our clients Committed to building high quality, secure, performant product and willing to pursue new learning in these areas Flexible with mode of communication, whether it be with coworkers in-person or online. Able to contribute to an inclusive mindset to promote collaboration Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies Required: Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, particularly within an agile software development practice In-depth experience writing and executing test plans and test cases from requirements and technical specifications Experience with defect and work item tracking systems like JIRA Experience with testing cloud/distributed architectures, REST APIs & Microservices Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment. Testing web and mobile software applications in a SaaS or on-premises: 2+ years Cypress automation experience and/or Appium: 2+ years Experience with backend testing using tools like SQL or Postman: 2+ years Experience with EHSQ systems is an asset Required: Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience Certification within a recognized Quality program, such as CTFL, CASQ, CSQA or CSTE, is preferred
