Title: Quality Assurance – Healthcare (Medicaid) Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration: 12+ Months Employment Type: Contract (C2C / W2) Experience Required: 06+ Years Work Requirement: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense. Project Scope: The QA Healthcare Consultant will perform testing and quality assurance activities for complex healthcare applications. The role includes developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop test plans, QA, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and test cases. Design and execute automated and manual test scripts. Test software applications for reliability, performance, and usability. Identify, document, and track defects; communicate issues to development teams. Perform negative testing, regression testing, and usability testing. Collaborate with product management, developers, and business teams to optimize system performance. Maintain QA documentation and produce reports as required. Ensure adherence to testing governance, best practices, and standards. Required Skills & Experience: · 3+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios. · 2+ years testing IBM Curam or similar healthcare software. · Strong communication skills to report testing status and articulate issues to development teams. Preferred Skills: · 5+ years of experience in large enterprise or e-business systems. · Deep knowledge of healthcare operations and business processes (preferably Medicaid). · Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence). · Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
