Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
In this position, you will work as part of the QA team on one or more major space projects. You will work directly with the AIT team of the project and report technically to the Senior QA Inspector of the project. The other area of activity is the initiation and execution of standardization and improvement projects.

You take over the following work packages:

• Inspection of hardware and control of documentation including test support
• Preparation and execution of MIPs / KIPs / IPs
• Initiation and execution of improvement projects regarding standardization and further development of the QA department and its interfaces
• Preparation and recurring preparation of control instruments for the individual groups and the department (KPIs, shop floor management etc.)
• Preparation of internal quality assurance documents and implementation of training courses

Your Qualifications

• Typical relevant education level: Technician or Master Craftsmen in a technical domain, University degree with a technical background or comparable qualification
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other documentation applications (e.g. Confluence)
• Basics of project management and ideally lean management
• Social skills: good communication and cooperation skills, high decision-making ability and technical leadership skills

Shift work and/or campaigns: The work packages of inspectors or engineers are strongly related to any MAIT activities within the project and might be done in shift work or campaigns. Therefore, the willingness and basic requirements to conduct shift work and/or support campaigns in cleanrooms, laboratories and test facilities are required.
