Job Description JD - Quality Assurance Inspector Main Responsibilities To implement a suitable system of quality assurance operations to effectively and efficiently monitor the compliance of airworthiness requirements, adequacy of procedures and safety by Asia Digital Engineering Part 145 AMO in its effort to maintain aircraft serviceability. Qualifications i. Hold a valid and current Aircraft Maintenance Licence which is issued or validated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM). ii. A minimum of 2 years maintenance certification experience in aviation. Specific Functions i. Audit, Surveillance and Operations Functions 1. To implement and maintain a system of audit, surveillance, sampling inspection, and spot checks to effectively ensure that all activities in Part 145 AMO pertaining to the maintenance of aircraft, engines, components, APU and associated equipment are accomplished in accordance with the Company, Operator and CAAM / NAA requirements. 2. To accommodate and coordinate third party audits and CAAM/ NAA audits. 3. To administer and implement the control, monitoring and tracking of all NCRs from the quality audit and surveillance finding. 4. To monitor and manage corrective and preventive actions resulting from an audit/surveillance and ensure the implementation. 5. To implement an evaluation or audit of Asia Digital Engineering’s vendors (suppliers) and contractors to ensure effective quality system controls are in place to meet the requirements of the Company and CAAM. 6. To accommodate operation matters with regards to Concession and Dispensation. 7. To implement Conformity Inspections following a modification or repair application performed by Asia Digital Engineering based on approved data. 8. To implement and coordinate the Quality Review Meeting with the relevant parties. ii. System and Standard Functions 1. To implement the company authorisation system and renewal process. 2. To implement the assessment / oral examination process for the grant and extension of company authorisation and approvals for all certifying staff. 3. To implement the development and amendment process of procedures pertaining to QA department and to ensure that they are accomplished in accordance with the Company and CAAM / NAA requirements. 4. To implement the development and amendment process of the MOE, Maintenance Procedure Manual Volume 1, Quality Notices, forms and other relevant publications. 5. To arrange submission of manuals to the authority for approval. 6. To implement the review process of all Part 145 departmental manuals and forms for Quality Assurance approval or concurrence. 7. To liaise with the relevant national airworthiness authorities on all matters pertaining to airworthiness approvals and authority requirements. 8. To review NAA requirements pertaining to organisational approvals. iii. Training Functions 1. To monitor all internal and external training administration activities to ensure that an effective and efficient administrative system is maintained. 2. To implement a system of control and monitoring of Part 145 training requirements. 3. To implement a review process of course syllabuses as required. 4. To monitor the training records updating process. 5. To monitor On-Job training and internship coordination activities. 6. To perform a review of company publications against CAAM/ NAA requirements and update course syllabus when required. iv. SMS Functions 1. To oversee & manage the SMS implementation plan within Part 145 AMO. 2. To initiate and co-ordinate aircraft accident / incident investigation to identify and establish the root cause and basis for formulating preventive measures. 3. To place punitive actions for any unsafe acts committed by Asia Digital Engineering Company Authorisation Certificate Holders within the perimeters of Human Factors elements and the interest of the company.
