We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join our team. This position reports directly to the President and CEO and is critical to ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
· Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
· Engineering degree is considered a valuable asset
· Experience with hydraulic cylinders is considered a valuable asset
· Previous experience with Nuclear/Aerospace key advantage
· Proficient with common inspection tools and methods
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) software
· Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
· High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

· Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications as per engineering drawings
· Accurately document inspection findings and maintain precise, high-quality records
· Identify and report non-conformances, and work with Purchasing, Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality issues and uphold quality standards
· Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM arm)
· Interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications during inspection
· Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
· Communicate with Shipping/Receiving and Operations Manager about part statuses and delays
· Perform vendor audits requiring travel to vendor locations
· Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
