We are looking for a hard working quality assurance manager for a CNC production machine shop. Successful candidates should have the following qualities:
- Ability to program CMM machines (PC-DMIS)
- Strong attention to detail
- A leader in organizing their work
- Broad knowledge of various measuring instruments used in machine shop
- Knowledge of measuring various threads
- Deep understanding of API Q1 and ISO 9001 is an asset, but not required
- Ability to create and follow quality control procedures
- Friendly and works well in a team based environment
- Ability to manage working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to operate a forklift
Job responsibilities include:
- Daily measuring of finished product (with measuring instruments and CMMs)
- First-off inspections
- Managing and maintaining the quality control system
- Maintaining quality records
- Measuring instrument calibrations
- Working closely with a production manager on product priorities
- Resolving quality control issues with customers
- Preparing products for shipping
- Shipping and receiving duties, including doing occasional deliveries to customers
- Maintaining work area organization and cleanliness
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
