This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing workflow efficiency, conducting performance reviews, and supporting initiatives that strengthen process quality. Working under the supervision and guidance of the internal QA team, the intern will gain exposure to essential office skills and quality practices. They will contribute to projects focused on enhancing productivity, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering data‑driven insights that help optimize day‑to‑day operations.   Responsibilities and Tasks: * Evaluate patient balances and denial data to identify performance trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.  * Support the QA team in assessing and monitoring overall office performance and quality metrics.  * Assist in designing and refining QA audits, reviews, and evaluation tools that enhance operational effectiveness.  * Contribute to automation and process-improvement projects aimed at optimizing workflows and increasing productivity.   Minimum Qualifications: * Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Business or Data Analytics or Physical sciences related field. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. * Must be able to work onsite from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026  * Full-Time Internship requiring 40 hours per week onsite   The Encompass Health Way We proudly set the standard in care by leading with empathy, doing what's right, focusing on the positive, and standing stronger together.
