Description

EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree
  • B.S. degree in a technical discipline is highly desired.
  • In lieu of associates degree degree 7 or more years of relevant Quality Assurance experience is acceptable preferably in a lab.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 + years of prior quality assurance experience, working knowledge of databases and MS Office products is required.
  • QA Lab Management experience desired
  • Familiarity of ISO9001 QMS.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience with Gas Chromatography is highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.
  • Able to work independently or in a group.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Committed to quality.

Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of lab associates to insure accurate and timely completion of testing, as well as adherence to Goodyear policies and procedures.
  • Grade and Release all finished products within the plant.
  • Purchasing of supplies and service agreements. Communicate and work with vendors.
  • Manage quality systems including calibration and maintenance of equipment and building.
  • Support plant functions as it pertains to the QA laboratory including but not limited to issuing permits, participating in ISO9001 and internal quality audits, and attending weekly meetings.
