POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will emphasize a focus in our Whey facility where we manufacture several products. This position will monitor, act upon, and assist others with internal and external audits, customer feedback, process performance, product conformance, preventive and correction actions, and changes that affect the quality and business management systems. Assist with putting in place tests to determine quality of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products. Control process and product performance through the management of tests, documentation of procedures, and education and training of employees.
SUPERVISION SUMMARY:
Supervises quality assurance members and laboratory department.

Normal: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Required if needed to complete any essential Job Function: Saturday and Sunday
KNOWLEDGE:
Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of food safety computer software and other standard office electronics.
SKILLS:
Quality Control Analysis — Conducting food safety tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Systems Analysis — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of Quality Assurance related position.
Willing and Able to perform all job essential functions with or without accommodation.
Willing and Able to be exposed to/perform all physical and environmental factors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 4-7 years of Quality Assurance food related position, including training in HACCP.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy/Food Science or equivalent subject

OPEN BASED UPON EXPERIENCE
$3 shift premium from 6pm-6am, all day on Saturdays
1.5x pay over 40 hours
