ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a hands-on and process-oriented QA Lead to take ownership of quality across our product ecosystem. In this role, you’ll define and run our internal QA operations, coordinate with our external QA vendor, and lead all efforts around testing and release validation. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure we ship high-quality, bug-free experiences for students and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the QA lifecycle across new features, releases, and regression testing
• Coordinate with external QA vendors to define test scopes, timelines, and deliverables
• Perform hands-on manual testing across a variety of consumer-facing and internal-facing applications
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases using tools like Linear, JIRA or equivalents
• Design and drive structured user testing workflows where applicable
• Ensure seamless release readiness through pre-launch validations and post-release smoke tests
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support to identify prioritize, and resolve quality issues
• Support accessibility and compliance testing (e.g., WCAG, ADA) across the platform
• Develop and report on QA metrics that help drive accountability and visibility
• Champion a culture of quality and proactive problem-solving across the product team
