POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead with a strong background in testing within ETL processes and experience working with SQL and Hadoop. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, possess a deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and be comfortable operating within an Onsite/Offshore delivery model.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS (6–8 YEARS):

• ETL testing
• Hadoop testing
• Strong SQL and HQL skills
• Deep understanding of the full STLC process
• Experience working in Onshore/Offshore delivery environments

PREFERRED/BONUS SKILLS:

• Python development experience
• Familiarity with automation testing tools

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• Certifications in software testing or related disciplines are a plus

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pittsburgh, PA 1522

• Lead and execute end-to-end ETL and Hadoop data testing efforts
• Write and optimize complex SQL/HQL queries for data validation
• Ensure testing practices align with STLC best practices
• Collaborate with both Onshore and Offshore teams for seamless project delivery
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet testing objectives
