(Saudi National Only) Grade: GG12 Location: RIYADH Working hours: full time Advert closing: 26/10/2025 ACCOUNTABILITIES: To act as the focal point for all quality related matters within the Business Assurance or Training Assurance areas. Directly responsible to the Head of Assurance / SHE for all Quality matters affecting the project. The Quality Assurance Manager also has a reporting line to the Business Support Director for compliance with Quality Policy and Governance. Define and deliver assurance performance indicators on a monthly basis and identify improvement activities for all assurance and business processes. Responsibilities: · The Quality / Assurance Manager is responsible for managing project / Function / Training activities and tasks as directed by the Head of Quality / Assurance. · Will be required to manage, within defined quality process, the evaluation, approval and through-life management, through surveillance plans, of vendors of customer deliverable products / services, ensuring the satisfaction of customer and regulatory requirements for quality, and ensuring elimination of quality risk through these approaches to BAE Systems SDT. · Will be required to lead and conduct audits, assessment and investigations into product/service and/or process failures in line with business needs. · Job holder will provide an interface with the internal customer and supplier/subcontractors on all quality control and assurance matters and shall be an efficient communicator with confidence and experience in dealing with these parties. · Represent the Quality Department as project/business/training assurance Specialist assuring that approvals and regulations, contractual quality conditions and company requirements, including Lifecycle Management (LCM) requirements, are achieved. To undertake product/service certification activities as necessary. · Responsible for the management and reporting of the BMS and the associated training docuemnts in the BMS. · As required, ensuring the effective operation of the Buisness and training Assurance activities across all areas of Business delivery or Training Delivery and Functional Departments to include the provision and planning of independent Quality support to relevant activities to assure satisfaction of Customer requirements for Quality. · As required, providing a Quality Focal Point for Customer Quality Representatives to include the provision of an independent service and Point of Contact for the resolution of Customer Quality complaints. · Produce and prepare Quality Plans in line with LCM requirements and business requiremnts. Comprehensive reports are produced assuring project activities are addressed to any regulations, awarding body or customer’s satisfaction. · Responsible for the day-to-day liaison, tracking and reporting on quality issues and resolutions through written reports and presentations. · Identify and deliver departmental training needs for the Quality Assurance team. · Develop strategies, approaches, analysis and improvements to ensure robust assurance to cover the end to end scope of BAES SDT work is in place. · Help develop and coach staff to enhance their skills and experience. Job Requirements: · The jobholder shall have an engineering background and a minimum of 7 years experience in a Quality / Assurance environment. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Recognised engineering trade qualification. · ISO9001 or AS9110 qualified Lead Auditor · He must have a detailed knowledge and experience of the current BAE Systems Quality Management System and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. · Must have knowledge of Training Delivery approaches, regulations and certifications. · Strong understanding and experience of corporate governance and compliance activities and processes within BAE Systems. Proactive planning, organising and implementing tasks that are required to ensure that BAE Systems SDT quality standards conform both with customer (internal & external) and regulatory body requirements · The jobholder has a direct impact on the business through their responsibility for the quality of the tasks performed or services provided. · The jobholder must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, and be sensitive to audience diversity. The job holder may also require a degree of tact and diplomacy when dealing with others. · Should be able to report both verbal and written to external customers, suppliers and internal customers pertaining to audits and fault investigations as required.
