JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product quality and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that processes, materials, and finished products meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
The QA Manger will lead quality teams, develop and implement quality management systems, and drive continuous improvement initiative across production operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, ITAR, and GMP, or other relevant quality standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities
  • Quality Leadership and Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO9001:2015, AS9100:D, ITAR, GMP, and other relevant standards.
  • Establish quality objectives, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Lead and mentor quality assurance and quality control staff to ensure consistent application of standards.
  • Process and Product Quality
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions.
  • Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process checks, and final product audits.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality metrics, audits, and non-conformance reports.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lead initiatives in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization to reduce waste, defects, and costs.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality management.
