Description Browning is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The duties include planning, coordinating, and conducting activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties. Requirements 1. Plans, conducts, and oversees the analysis, inspection, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component. Inspection and analysis will include but is not limited to metrology and material property definitions. 2. Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. 3. Reviews purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor. 4. Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures. 5. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. 6. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management. 7. Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities. 8. Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management. 9. Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities. 10. Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. 11. Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. 12. Interprets quality philosophy to key personnel in organization. 13. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. 14. Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures. 15. Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation. 16. Plays active role on quality management teams within organization. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: B.S. degree in Engineering and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
