Position: Quality Assurance Manager

JOB SUMMARY

As a full-time Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for developing and enforcing procedures, validating processes, and maintaining ISO 9001 registration to ensure a high level of quality exists throughout the company. You will report directly to the General manager in the quality assurance department

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. degree or quality assurance background with a minimum of 5 years of work experience performing above responsibilities and daily tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain ISO 9001 registration
  • Serve as customer contact on all initial quality issues
  • Provide technical training and performance evaluations to department personnel and operators
  • Conduct quality plans for customer-driven products to ensure all quality level meets company and consumer expectations
  • Maintain measurement equipment calibrations
  • Perform and oversee the inspection of incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Prepare work instructions and procedures and participates in daily procedure meetings
  • Helps maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Supports the company’s quality policy and objectives by reviewing and taking accountability for the effectiveness of the quality management system
  • Schedules and conducts internal audits, and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives
