We are a BRCGS AA+ accredited Bakery based in the Midlands. We are also a nut free, halal friendly, RSPO and RFA accredited site. We serve national foodservice and retail customers all around the UK.
In this key role, you will work closely with our production and operational teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Beyond maintaining standards, you will have the opportunity to lead improvement initiatives, implement innovative solutions, and support the continuous growth of our business. • Ensuring compliance with the latest BRC Food Safety Standard, managing risks, and leading food safety initiatives, including HACCP and allergen management.
• Leading and developing a team of Quality Technicians, embedding a culture of ownership and accountability for food safety and quality.
• Driving improvement by leading external technical audits, internal audits, resolving quality incidents, investigating complaints, and implementing preventative measures.
• Overseeing and enhancing the Quality Management System, supporting operational projects, and ensuring the smooth commissioning of new equipment.
• Tracking non-conformance trends, reporting on key quality metrics, and providing updates to support continuous improvement.
• Work closely with our External Technical Consultant with regards to new customer requests and requirements.
