Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and procedures across machining, fabrication, and inspection operations. Day-to-day tasks include establishing quality standards, leading inspections and audits, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, overseeing CMM and other measurement processes, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements. The Quality Assurance Manager will investigate nonconformities, lead root cause analysis, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve process capability and product consistency. The role also involves training staff on quality practices, preparing quality documentation and reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO-based frameworks, QA/QC procedures, root cause analysis, continuous improvement).
  • Experience with precision machining and fabrication environments, including CNC milling, turning, EDM, grinding, and welding processes.
  • Proficiency in inspection and measurement tools and techniques, such as CMM operations, dimensional inspection, and use of gauges and metrology equipment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis, documentation, reporting, and use of quality-related software or ERP/MES systems.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to coach and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field; relevant certifications in quality or auditing are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in metalworking or precision engineering, and the ability to work on-site in Dubai.

About Performance Engineer: Monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.This role supports cross-functional teams by ensuring process compliance, optimizing service delivery, and enhancing data integrity.

  • Key Responsibility: Track and analyze operational KPIs using ERP and other data sources; generate dashboards and reports to highlight trends and performance gaps.
  • Perform root cause analysis (Pareto, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive service and process improvements.
  • Collect and validate field service data, usage records, and manpower reports; ensure data accuracy through regular audits and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Maintenance, and Quality teams to align on performance standards and ensure compliance with SOPs and contracts.
  • Provide technical support and documentation during internal and external audits.
  • Support training programs by developing materials, monitoring assessments, and tracking competency development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date performance data in the ERP system


  • Qualifications:Engineering Degree is a must (industrial and Petroleum engineering is preferred)
  • Hands on KPIs experience



  • Preferred:Tubular Running Services or related field knowledge

About The Role


We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production line design, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement for AD Robotics a robotics venture.


This role is responsible for production line design, manufacturing flow, automation integration, ERP configuration, and process documentation to support efficient, scalable production of our robotics platforms.


You will work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to build reliable manufacturing processes for complex robotic products, including legged robots and humanoids.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and optimize production line layout, workstation configuration, and material flow for robot assembly, integration, and test.
  • Lead assembly process development for complex robotic platforms, including mechanical, electrical, and sensor/software integration steps.
  • Define and implement end-of-line functional testing, calibration, and quality checks to ensure product reliability.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within the production line to improve efficiency and reduce manual error.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve throughput, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Configure and maintain ERP master data (BOMs, routings, work centers) to support accurate production planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Partner with engineering and quality teams to support new product introduction and continuous process improvement.

Requirements


  • 8+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment, including experience in robotics / hardware.
  • UAE experience preferred, with familiarity with local manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with production line design, process development, and assembly of complex electromechanical products.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for BOM, routing, and work center configuration.
  • Strong grounding in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage, or scaling business environments.

Education And Certifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent lean certification considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CAD/simulation tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP and manufacturing software tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle).
