The Role: Quality Assurance Manager You will be responsible for the overall Quality and Reliability of products produce in APC by Schneider Electric facilities and subcontract house. The job also ensures that we comply with Quality systems requirements; ISO9001:2000, ISO14000:2004, OHSAS, regulatory requirements, and other customer-specific requirements. Supervise the complete scope of the Quality function or more than two specific quality sub-functions as the ultimate person in charge of customer satisfaction and organize/manage the Quality function within a given entity (including quality planning, allocation of resources and quality measurements. What will you do? Responsible for the overall quality of products produced and manufactured at Cavite facilities and Subcontractors Identification of projects and activities to support the department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Coordinates with the Quality Assurance (QA) team in the formulation, and implementation of quarterly goals Ensure APC’s products quality and processes reliability Coordinates with customers on all quality issues and claims Leads in resolving corrective actions and continuously drives analysis and solutions of customer feedbacks and complaints in coordination with Team Leaders, Supervisors of all engineering support groups Coordinate all customer visit preparations and interactions Responsible for final disposition and scrappage of parts with quality issues, e.g. battery, Printed Circuit Board (PCB), electrical parts Prepares and budgeting of the annual QA Expenses and Activities Initiate programs for quality consciousness and continuous improvement activities Maintenance of quality system in accordance with international standard Reports the Quality Management System (QMS) performance to management for review as basis for improvement Coordinates the process of Certification for all Production Staffs assigned in special processes Responsible for the deployment of 7 steps and Six Sigma Projects throughout the Facilities Monitoring of Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation on critical process to maintain process normal capability Manages the Customer Satisfaction and quality function within one site (plant, unit..) Develops quality action plans, allocates resources Who would be successful? Education level: B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering or other related Engineering courses Minimum of 7 years with relevant experience- Manufacturing Quality Improvement work includes: Creating and Implementing quality management programs focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing-related business systems from customers’ point of view Identifying and monitoring customer and employee feedback loops regarding the effectiveness of manufacturing-related business systems and processes Encouraging broad-based employee engagement to gather information and implement changes at every level in the organization. Sound knowledge of the PCBA manufacturing process and IPC standards A Senior Professional applies advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex Experience and knowledge in quality control, sampling, and product quality assurance Certified or trained in Auditing ISO 9001 ver. 2000 and ISO 14001 Knowledge in Six Sigma and Quality Tools Nice to have: Certified Black Belt or Green Belt Can work with minimum supervision Able to communicate at all levels of management Able to provide a quality inspection report and status Amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite Working arrangements: Compressed work week, 5x a week Onsite What’s in it for me?
