QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will lead all aspects of ProSource’s quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and applicable
regulatory/industry requirements (including UL508A). This role is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing inspection, testing, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of quality assurance/quality management experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and internal auditing.
  • Familiarity with UL508A, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or other industry standards.
  • Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action programs.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection/testing for control panels, wire harnesses, and assemblies.
  • Ensure compliance with UL, IPC, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Lead internal audits, support external/third-party audits, and manage corrective/preventive actions.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement solutions.
  • Manage quality metrics, reporting, and KPIs for leadership review.
  • Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees.
  • Lead a small team of quality inspectors/technicians (as assigned).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, certifications, and audits.
