Requirements Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, responsible for driving a world-class Quality Management System across our Rome, NY and Mebane, NC facilities. This role leads a multidisciplinary team — including Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, Quality Operations, and Quality Systems — to ensure product quality, process capability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This leader will partner deeply with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Technical Sales to strengthen quality performance, implement measurable standards, and champion continuous improvement using BMT principles and LIST techniques. The successful candidate will bring an energetic, collaborative, and analytical leadership style focused on building systems, developing people, and driving operational excellence Duties and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Manager: Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations direct reports Define and standardize quantifiable quality expectation and operational control gates to ensure production meets or exceeds the expectations. Implement checks, tools, and techniques to reduce and ultimately eliminate quality or process nonconformances. Direct and report on all quality management systems and metrics. Ensure proper management of ISO 9001 and internal audit systems, certification, and supplier performance. Promote active partnership with operations/engineering/maintenance to identify impediments and support efforts. Create strong interface with Technical Sales and Production teams to resolve quality issues and establish corrective actions. Verify product, process chemical or environmental compliance with specifications and regulations. Coordinates and implements projects and action plans to drive continuous improvement of Revere’s QMS. Lead execution of robust Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action on nonconformances Champion a culture of continuous improvement a superior quality. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager: Key focus for Quality Engineers includes: Serve as a hands-on Quality Assurance partner to mill operations, providing technical support, coaching, and oversight across multiple manufacturing areas. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, reduce remakes, and strengthen process capability and product consistency. Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer, ASTM/CDA, and industry requirements through standards, control plans, and corrective actions. Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving and corrective action implementation for product, process, and customer nonconformances using structured quality tools. Apply quality engineering techniques (SPC, capability studies, audits, testing, diagnostics) to monitor, analyze, and improve process performance. Key focus of the Quality Operations Supervisor includes: Coach and manage employee performance using BMT principles and LIST techniques, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and accountability. Lead and a team of Lab Technicians in the Quality Control Laboratory, ensuring continuous coverage, equipment availability, and consistent testing practices. Lead a team of Quality Technicians to provide reliable and timely quality support to Production Operations Identify, contain, and disposition of quality related nonconformances throughout production. Monitor key process variables against established specifications a report on exceptions. Represent Revere’s interests at industry associations such as ASTM International Implement and sustain Revere’s Quality System within lab and inspection activities, including deviations, audits, and standardized work. Drive continuous improvement in lab safety, efficiency, cost, cycle time, and analytical precision while maintaining compliance with regulations and standards. Key focus of the Quality System Administrator includes: Administer the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality requirements. Plan, facilitate, and support external ISO 9001 audits Lead coordination of the internal audit program, tracking nonconformances, and facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions through closure. Manage document control and change management processes to ensure accurate, current, and controlled quality documentation. Administer the calibrated equipment program to ensure measurement systems remain compliant, reliable, and audit-ready. Qualifications: 5-7 years of Leadership experience in primary metals manufacturing quality, production, or maintenance. Experience with progressive levels of supervisory responsibility. Strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills. Special Demands: While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to wet or humid conditions. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. May be regularly exposed to high noise environments. May be exposed to extremely dusty environments. Education / Training: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent technical discipline. Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related technical field.
