Position: QA/QC Officer

Department: Quality & Food Safety

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and approve raw materials, nuts, spices and packaging materials.
• Check COA, moisture, aflatoxin, microbiology and other quality parameters.
• Monitor production processes including sorting, roasting, seasoning and packing.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor allergen control, hygiene, pest control and cross-contamination.
• Conduct in-process and finished-product quality inspections.
• Verify weight, packaging, labelling, coding and shelf life.
• Manage non-conformities, corrective actions and product release.
• Maintain QC records, traceability and laboratory reports.
• Support UAE regulatory, customer and food-safety audits.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, preferably nuts/spices.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP and ISO 22000/FSSC 22000.
