THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for a highly motivated and pro-active person who is willing to challenge themselves in an ever-evolving industry. The right person must have the ability to methodically approach tasks ensuring all requirements are captured. It is preferable, but not essential, for the right candidate to have:

  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Confidence in their approach with the ability to challenge

Monday to Thursday 6pm-6am
Holiday: 4 weeks, plus bank holidays, plus an extra day for each year of service (capped at 1 week)

Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your duties will include:

  • Conducting quality inspection checks on products & ensuring they are to the required specification.
  • Reporting any non-conformances, quarantining any effected stock, & ensuring corrective actions are followed up.
  • Carrying out equipment calibrations & ensuring all calibrations are up-to-date.
  • Conducting scheduled internal audits & evaluating these findings to implement corrective actions.
  • Positive release of finished goods to ensure all products released are to a high standard.
  • Swabbing of equipment after cleaning, & releasing it back to Production accordingly.
  • Taking samples & swabs for microbiological testing.
  • Working with Production to resolve any quality issues with their products.
  • Supporting the Quality Management team and driving a strong food safety & quality culture.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures & food safety regulations.
  • Assisting with training of staff in procedures & quality control.
  • Any other reasonable additional dutie
