Arizona Home Care is seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse to join our in-office clinical leadership team. The Quality Assurance Nurse supports agency-wide clinical quality through OASIS review, documentation audits, regulatory compliance, and clinician education. This role collaborates closely with clinical leadership, intake, billing, and operations to ensure accurate documentation, survey readiness, and optimal outcomes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented RN with strong OASIS and Medicare compliance experience who enjoys auditing records, coaching clinicians, and elevating agency-wide quality. Key Responsibilities OASIS & Documentation Review Audit OASIS assessments (SOC, ROC, Recertification, Discharge) for accuracy and compliance Ensure adherence to Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) Review clinical documentation, care plans, and coding for clarity, consistency, and reimbursement accuracy Identify documentation trends impacting quality or revenue (LUPA, case mix, coding accuracy) Quality & Compliance Conduct medical record audits for regulatory and accreditation compliance Support QAPI initiatives, performance improvement plans, and survey readiness Track quality metrics and patient outcomes Assist with SHP reporting and quality analysis Clinician Support & Education Provide real-time feedback and coaching on OASIS and documentation best practices Support onboarding and ongoing education for clinicians Serve as a clinical resource for documentation, compliance, and quality standards Collaboration Work closely with nursing leadership, intake, billing, scheduling, and operations teams Promote smooth care coordination and accurate billing practices Support agency-wide quality and operational goals Qualifications: Active Arizona RN license (required) OASIS certification (required; COS-C preferred), or willingness to obtain OASIS certification within an established timeframe Minimum 2 years home health nursing experience Strong knowledge of Medicare CoPs and home health regulations Experience with EMRs and clinical documentation review Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
