Job Description
Opportunity for your first move into a Quality role with a leading engineering/construction company on a prestigious infrastructure project.
The Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA’s next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
Responsibilities

As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will assist with the following:

  • Development and preparation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Check Lists;
  • Inspection of received materials and equipment, coordination of testing and reporting;
  • Inspection of subcontractor and Alliance works, coordination of testing and reporting necessary to deliver contract requirements;
  • Review of supplier and subcontractor documents and records;
  • Audit and assessment of subcontractor and Alliance activities.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant Tertiary or Trade Qualification
  • 2 years on engineering/construction projects.
  • Exposure to one or more disciplines and products, including: Structural, Mechanical & Piping and Electrical, Instrumentation & Control
  • Use of collaboration software such as TeamBinder, Aconex or RIB CX.
