We are now seeking a part-time Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen our compliance framework and help prepare the company for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Quality, Food Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline (preferred).
• Previous experience in QA/Quality Systems within food, pharma, or life sciences sector.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and auditing QMS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Part-Time Quality Assurance (QA) Officer will be responsible for overseeing all quality systems within the business. The role will focus on ensuring that procedures, SOPs, QMS, and food handling documentation are up to date, fully compliant, and aligned with industry best practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving Bioreva Sciences’ quality systems in preparation for GMP standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, update, and maintain all SOPs, procedures, and quality documentation.
• Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee food handling and safety documentation in compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Implement systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
• Conduct internal audits and gap analyses against GMP standards.
• Train staff on relevant quality procedures, documentation practices, and compliance requirements.
• Work with management to ensure the premises and processes are prepared for GMP certification.
• Monitor and report on quality KPIs and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively.
