Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key member of the SA team based at our Para Hills facility, you will ensure all buildings are completed defect-free and meet quality standards. Your role includes daily photo documentation, managing inspection and testing plans, inspecting materials and chassis, and working closely with supervisors and contractors to resolve issues. Maintaining a strong safety and WHSEQ culture is essential throughout all tasks. This is a 12-month fixed-term position with the potential for extension.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Ensure all buildings are completed defect-free and meet quality standards before handover.
  • Take daily photos documenting critical stages of each build and file them appropriately.
  • Manage and follow up on Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) throughout the production process.
  • Inspect incoming materials, chassis, and completed builds for compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and contractors to identify and resolve defects promptly.
  • Maintain and promote a strong WHSEQ and safety culture, reporting hazards and incidents as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in internal audits and inspections.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • A trade background or other relevant qualification
  • Construction induction card (White Card)
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • Min 5 years’ experience in construction with knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management skills with an ability to work under pressure and plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Sound administrative skills including accurate record keeping.
  • Commitment to the efficient and effective delivery of quality customer service.
  • Administration would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Affiliation with Construction Industry organisations is desirable
