THIS POST IS PERMANENT AND FULL TIME, WORKING 35 HOURS PER WEEK.

The Quality and Standards Office plays a key role in the development of the University’s quality assurance and academic regulatory frameworks, including the approval, monitoring and review of courses. It also provides a Committee Secretariat function and supports the University’s three Colleges in meeting their responsibility for quality assurance, academic standards and governance.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the University to support the development and accreditation of new programmes, with a particular focus on Nursing and Physicians Associate provision. These are new areas of provision and growth for the University, and we are looking for an individual who will provide advice, guidance and operational support to colleagues on the relevant healthcare related Professional, Statutory and Regulatory accreditation processes in developing our courses
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the University’s processes whilst contributing to the successful implementation and ongoing development of health-related and other programmes. The ideal candidate will have an interest in quality assurance and higher education. Strong communication skills are essential alongside a requirement for good project management skills. The role requires effective collaboration with teams across the University, as well as with external stakeholders and accrediting bodies.
