Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Tester – Rwanda We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team in Africa. The QA Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, functionality, and overall quality of our betting platform across multiple African markets. This position focuses on manual testing, covering daily platform routines, USSD features, and mobile money payment methods. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing on various platform functionalities, including web, mobile, and USSD features. Validate and test different mobile money payment methods to ensure seamless transactions. Conduct daily routine checks to maintain platform stability and performance. Identify, document, and report defects, working closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Create and execute test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage. Collaborate with local teams to understand market-specific challenges and requirements. Participate in release testing, verifying that new features and updates function correctly before deployment. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the user experience and platform performance. Requirements: Experience: 2+ years in software testing, preferably in the betting or fintech industry. Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile money payment systems and USSD technology. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of testing methodologies, test case creation, and bug reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify and document issues effectively. Communication: Good verbal and written English skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. Location: Based in Africa, with knowledge of local payment methods and user behavior. Nice to Have: Experience with automation testing tools. Familiarity with API testing and SQL queries. Previous experience in the betting or gaming industry.
