Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is a key position of the newly established, Aisin Texas Corporation in Cibolo Texas. This position is expected to help lead the new organization to a successful startup of key automotive components. QAS is responsible to meet ATX Quality management system, encourage continuous improvement and resolve quality issues across projects/departments.   Responsibilities 1. Evaluate quality assurance methods of suppliers and in-house processes. 2. Provide technical direction with suppliers and departments for quality assessment and validate the result. 3. Communicate with customer to understand and analyze customer requirements regarding quality assurance activities. 4. Communicate with customer regarding quality information and corrective actions. 5. Manage suppliers and internal quality corrective actions. 6. Implement quality measures to meet quality objectives. 7. Arrange and maintain working environment by complying with ISO14001, IATF16949, safety guidelines, procedures and regulations.   Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or 5 or more years of related manufacturing experience 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or engineering role. 3. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing industry, ISO 9001 / IATF16949. 4. Understand PPAP requirements and root cause analysis. 5. Leadership track record and good understanding of how to lead people. 6. Effective oral and written communications skills 7. Excellent computer skills working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point   Desirable Qualifications 1. Experience in a cross-cultural working environment. 2. Experience of IATF16949 3.
