Dosal Tobacco Corporation, an ISO 9001 certified company, is seeking a Quality Specialist for our Manufacturing Plant near Opa-Locka, Florida.
With half a century of experience in the United States, our brands have become respected and well known for providing premium-quality tobacco products.
The Quality Specialist ensures that all products manufactured by the company adhere to established quality standards in a consistent and efficient manner.
1. Performs complete inspection of product prior to release according to applicable specifications within assigned business unit.
2. Records the results of inspections and audit findings on the appropriate forms and/or in the Quality Module of SAP.
3. Reports all product non-conformance issues including but not limited to insects and foreign material found in any material to Quality and Production management.
5. Maintains adherence to all safety, environmental, company policies, and quality system standards.
6. Verifies raw material COAs and COCs for conformance to physical parameters, according to the vendors’ and company’s specifications.
7. Communicates effectively and in a timely manner.
8. Maintains good housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation, and pest control practices.
11. Performs all other miscellaneous duties as appropriately directed by Quality management or supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
