Responsibilities

QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST ROLE:

Your role will involve conducting meticulous inspections and evaluations of both in-process and finished products, following established procedures and guidelines. You’ll ensure quality benchmarks and process controls are consistently met during the manufacturing stages. Expect to compile comprehensive documentation, records, and reports while supporting quality, engineering, and production teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize strong numerical skills for calibration and specification measurement.
  • Exhibit initiative and independence as a proactive worker.
  • Commit to the goals and objectives of both your department and the company.
  • Be detail-focused to identify and address compliance issues with products or components.
  • Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of parts based on supervisor and inspector guidelines, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Analyze inspection reports and provide valuable feedback to supervisors and production staff.
  • Ensure timely inspection and packing of daily shipments.
  • Log all inspections of parts at designated intervals, using certified Quality Control processes and calibrated equipment.
  • Perform audits to verify quality standards are upheld.
  • Properly tag and handle suspect parts for designated area storage.
  • Be prepared and open to working overtime as needed.
  • Practice safety diligently to protect yourself and coworkers.
  • Report any hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment requirements consistently.
  • Engage in necessary training programs as prescribed by management.
  • Execute additional tasks or duties essential to maintain company productivity.
  • Abide by all safety regulations and company policies compliant with OSHA and Pace standards.
  • Report directly to the Quality Manager, taking charge of quality control as instructed by higher management.
