The opportunity
An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Claims Performance and Governance team to work collaboratively with QBE Agencies who perform claims handling on behalf of QBE.
In this role, you will be acting as a business partner around quality assurance, engaging with QBE Agencies around quality, compliance and leakage outcomes with a view to improving claims performance.

About the Role

  • Communicate with and coordinate all relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop a risk-based schedule of reviews
  • Partner and engage with all relevant stakeholders to deliver role requirements
  • Conduct claim file reviews for the purpose of measuring the claims management and compliance performance across all relevant products (primarily, but not limited to, Home and Motor) and identifying claims process improvements
  • Identify and escalate risks as identified
  • Extract and analyse data in order to report on and present QA insights

About You

  • Must have solid claims experience
  • Motor/Home experience highly desirable
  • Previous QA experience highly desirable
  • Sound technical claims expertise
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and claims management practices
  • Confident in presenting outcomes to a wide audience including senior leaders
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong working knowledge and skill in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
