Hi! ✌ We are Railwaymen - a software house from Kraków. What do we do? We are building functional, well-designed and fully-tested web apps and do product design. What’s more? We research, consult and do workshops for our international clients. Being recognized as Global Leaders and Top Ruby on Rails Developers by Clutch made us proud!
We don’t just tell one story, we have a lot to say! EXPERIENCE WITH USING FOLLOWING TOOLS OR TECHNOLOGIES WILL BE ADDITION ASSET:

• Jira/Confluence
• API testing knowledge and experience: Postman / SoapUI (and / or comparable tools)
• Experience in UI testing (e.g., DevTools)
• BrowserStack (or comparable tools, e.g. iOS Simulator, SauceLabs, Lambda Test, etc.)
• Performance measurement and optimization tools ( e.g Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse), GTMetrics)

• Perform manual functional tests; verifying of product functionality across different platforms, devices, and browsers.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not introduce new defects.
• Define test objectives, write and execute test cases test scenarios.
• Effectively document identified defects. Cooperate with developers to resolve any product issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and verify that they are met. Provide feedback related to key challenges/product limitations uncovered during testing.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, propose innovations and means of implementing new technology/processes in QA field.
• Improve technical skills and knowledge of the project’s business domain, share your knowledge with the team.
• Being a member of a cross-disciplinary team (active participation in team activities that focus on a common goal).

Must have

• Min. 1 year of experience as QA or related role.
• Strong analytical skills, rational thinking with excellent interpersonal skills.
• High self-motivation to achieve responsible assignment.
• Creative and critical thinking ability, problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards, best practices, and methodologies (ISTQB Certification - an advantage)
• Effective communication skills
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the deliverable created during the development lifecycle
• Experience with agile estimation taking into consideration product and process requirements during the development lifecycle
• Well-spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information System, or IT related fields.
• Mentoring/leading experience will be additional asset
