Responsibilities
  • Manage QA lab operations, including personnel scheduling, training, equipment calibration, accreditation program compliance, and data integrity
  • Oversee product certification and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions for nonconforming products
  • Maintain and improve laboratory quality systems and documentation
  • Oversee customer complaint log and ensure corrective action plan implementation
  • Identify, analyze, and improve production and warehousing processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis tools
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects to reduce defects, improve throughput, and enhance product quality
  • Develop and implement process control plans and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to standardize best practices and eliminate waste
  • Act as a liaison between QA, Production, and Warehousing to align quality and operational goals
  • Facilitate communication of customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities across departments
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP Quality Module, SAP Inventory Module, and Instron systems; lead training and system optimization efforts
  • Use data analytics to monitor trends, identify improvement opportunities, and report on KPIs
  • Coach and mentor QA and production team members
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence
  • Lead and contribute to other projects as directed
