YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor in Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a related discipline) is required
- 5+ years of experience in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical distribution center is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in similar role is preferred
- Advanced experience/knowledge in Quality Management systems and standards (i.e. GMP, ISO 13485, 14001, 90001, 180001)
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of GMP’s, GDP’s, licensing, Federal and Provincial regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in French (written and verbal) an asset
- Leadership and managerial skills preferred
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As Quality Assurance Supervisor you will support and maintain the Quality Management System at the local level within assigned business unit(s), where Distribution and/or Wholesaling is applicable. You will support Quality Assurance manager in overseeing multiple sites as assigned. In addition you will support National QA Business projects and completion of regulatory body licensing.You will also manage RPIC /ARPIC QPIC / AQPIC for narcotics, controlled & target substance and precursors.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate/Execute implementation and compliance activities as per cGMP’s, corporate policies and procedures, client SOP’s and applicable regulations across all business and functional units (Distribution and/or Wholesaling).
- You will support internal, external, supplier, and regulatory audits across the Canadian Healthcare Network and act as the audit lead in the absence of a QA Manager.
- Responsible to hire, develop, and evaluate direct QA Specialists within the site, monitor work quality and productivity for maintenance of site QMS.
- Ensure Quality Assurance team training profiles are current and accurate as applicable to the requirements of the site(s).
- You will also mentor and train Quality Assurance team members as required.
- Ensure complete client reports and business review information is available for Monthly & Quarterly (MBR, QBR & QSMR) meetings and present to clients as determined by management.
