Description While all location employees have seed quality and a major component of their jobs, the QA Supervisor is the common link that helps to ensure that our customers are pleased with the quality of the seed we produce. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion Visually inspect all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance Processes and submits samples for quality lab analysis Works with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requests Monitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are noted. Initiating and releasing “SEED ON HOLD” within location warehouses and inventory systems Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area Requirements Agricultural background is beneficial Computer skills required, advanced skills preferred Understanding of seed production or minimum of four years of related experience Excellent communications skills with positive attitude Attentive to detail and accuracy Well organized About Remington Seeds Founded in 1984, Remington Seeds is a leader in seed production and one of the world’s largest third-party producers of corn, soybeans, wheat, sorghum, and sunflowers.
