Responsibilities

PRIMARY ROLE:

Plans, coordinates and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· In depth knowledge for IATF 16949 and ISO14001.
· Monitor the Customer sites for updates to their Customer Specific Requirements.
· Maintain Certification/Training for auditing.
· Participate in conducting Internal Audits for IATF 16949 and ISO14001.
· Monitor and manage a layered audit system.
· Maintain Plant Communication Boards and Measurables.
· Provide any updates to the Operations System Manager for QMS updates for implementation
· Participate in Assessments for customers ie CDP, MMOG, EcoVadis
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before customers and vendors.
· Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
· Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
· Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
· Certifications/training suggested Health and safety, Right to Know, SPC, Gauge R & R, GD & T, Computer Software, Problem Solving, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 Requirements, PFMEA and Teamwork.
· Knowledge MS Office applications and ERP Systems.
· Ability to use good judgment.
