Description Harper Industries Job Description Quality Assurance Technician Reports to: ? Quality Assurance Manager Description The Quality Assurance Technician inspects products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections, recording quality issues and planning processes to decrease the instance of defects in products. Job Responsibilities: ? Evaluates products and identifies defects according to company specifications and standards ? Performs pressure testing on all bed hydraulic lines ? Inspects paint quality and flags for rework when necessary ? Fills out quality inspection documents where required ? Fills out pacing boards and identifies flow interrupters ? Improves current standards by working with internal customers ? Keeps a clean workplace using 5S and lean methodologies ? Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: ? Live by our Core Values: ? Previous QA experience in a manufacturing setting ? Experience working with a CMM machine ? In-depth knowledge of our manufacturing process and product ? Basic understanding of 5S and Lean methodologies Physical Requirements ? Ability to stand for hours at a time and lift 50+ lbs. ? Ability to engage in frequent standing, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, as well as the pushing and pulling of parts Schedule/Salary ? M-F, 40-hour work week, 1st Shift ? Overtime with pre-approval by manager
