We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join our team.
Summary - As a Quality Assurance Technician at Atlantic Precast Concrete, you will be responsible for ensuring that all precast concrete products meet company and industry standards. This role involves daily inspections, documentation, testing, and communication with production teams to address any quality issues. On the job training is provided as well as opportunities for growth and certification assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform pre-pour, in-process, and post-pour inspections of precast concrete products.
  • Conduct concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, compression tests, etc.) and maintain accurate records.
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable industry standards.
  • Document and report any nonconformance issues; work with production to ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required.
  • Assist with quality control training for production staff.
  • Prepare daily quality reports and maintain organized documentation for audits.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all published/posted safety policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in precast concrete or construction materials.
  • Ability to perform math functions.
  • Basic understanding of test measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience performing concrete tests.
  • Experience with DOT or other government project requirements.
