QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor of Science preferred.
  • At least 2 year of experience in Food/Nutraceutical Manufacturing (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-operational swabbing and inspections.
  • Convert Specification sheet, Certificate of Analysis, other QC documents and submit to QA Manager for review and approval.
  • Completes specified jobs/tasks by deadline and/or provides requested information in a timely and concise manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in clean and production rooms; notify the QA Manager if issues arise.
  • Perform quality activities, including environmental/APC/protein swabbing.
  • Conduct audits for glass/breakage and wood under the guidance from QA Manager.
  • Coordinate and ensure that cleaning and sanitization are performed according to SOP.
  • Assist in ingredient inspections as part of quality control.
  • Ensure outgoing shipment quantity is matched to packing slip before release.
  • Create and issue labels for regular packaging and samples and submit to QA Manager to review and approval.
  • Monitor incoming products and those nearing expiration for lab testing.
  • Retain facility documents according to record retention policies.
  • Support the review and auditing of cGMP documents, including manufacturing, laboratory, and facility records.
  • Obtains QC documents from supplier and ensure documentation received is complete for material and vendor qualifications. As first reviewer to review supplier qualifications and material qualification forms are completed before submit to QA Manager for final review and approval.
  • Maintain OSHA safety procedures and practices within the company.
  • Keep employee training records updated and notify the QA Manager of any gaps.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance by the Operations team according to schedule.
  • Collect and maintain certifications and documents from suppliers and contractors.
  • Monitors label inventory.
  • Document and monitor FSMA requirements for foreign and domestic suppliers.
  • Assist with internal audits.
  • Conduct quarterly certification reviews and update trackers.
  • Maintain the Master Document Control Log and support the change control process.
