Piper Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech) to join a leading manufacturing organization focused on delivering high-quality products across multiple shifts. This position is located in Lynwood, CA. The QA Tech role centers on performing quality checks, documentation review, and compliance verification to ensure product integrity and regulatory alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN:

• 2–5 years of experience in QA, manufacturing, food, or pharmaceutical industries preferred; entry-level candidates considered if trainable
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accurate documentation practices
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Oracle, Agile, or WMS is a plus
• Comfortable with repetitive, process-driven work and effective cross-functional communication
• Familiarity with FDA/cGMP and 21 CFR Parts 111, 210 & 211 preferred
• High school diploma required

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN:

• Perform QA checks and documentation review directly on production lines to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Verify sanitation procedures, line changeovers, lot numbers, and labeling requirements
• Provide a second layer of compliance verification before product release
• Identify and stop errors prior to product release to maintain quality standards
• Operate forklifts as needed (training provided)
• Support investigations, deviations, non-conformance reports (NCMR), retains, and trend reporting
