Quality Assurance TechnicianThe Quality Assurance Technician is an inspector and responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and internal quality audits. Perform daily tasks to ensure compliance of quality in production and shipping departments. Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities: Maintain Quality Standards: Conduct frequent audits and inspections of product and processes to ensure quality standards, regulatory and customer requirement compliance. Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications. Drawings and Specification Review: Read and interpret blueprints/ drawings and specifications to ensure that production process align with quality standard. Recommendations for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes to assist in root cause and trends. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Required. 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO Certified company. Strong background in Microsoft Software, (Excel, Word, and Power Point Ability to read manufacturing drawings. Preference for a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control/ Quality Auditing experience in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing organization. Ability to pass Pre- Employment Drug screen and Physical. Ability to pass nationwide background check. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work at heights of 25 FT using ladders or lifts. Able to stand for long periods of time.
