For more information, visit essexsolutions.com.   POSITION OVERVIEW   The Quality Assurance Technician performs a variety of tasks in support of the Quality Assurance Team to ensure that products and services meet quality standards.   * Assist the Quality Manager with the daily quality department activities * Provide support for mass production product qualification processes Data entry * Enter and verify test data * Test data management of non-digital and digital documents * Assist in investigating customer complaint. * Participate 8D problem solving activities * 8D includes Containment, returned product investigation, data analysis, and corrective actions * Assist quality team with control of non-conforming product at production floor * Morning market, customer returns * Hold area * Conduct Control Plan audit and LPA (Layered Process Audit) * Control Plan audit (Monthly) * LPA (Weekly) * Support 5S practice (Production Floor and Office Organization) Education Requirements · High school diploma or GED equivalent   Experience Requirements · One (1) year of related experience in manufacturing environment and /or training   Licenses and/or Certifications Required   Ability to obtain Forklift license   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required · Ability to maintain confidentiality · Attention to detail · Communication, organizational and cross-reference skills Computer Equipment and Software Requirements · Microsoft Office Suite
