Quality Assurance Technician - Due to our continued growth and success we are looking for Quality Assurance Technicians to join our Technical team in Wrexham (LL13 9UZ and LL13 9UG). The hours we have available are 17:45pm to 06:00am, 18:45pm to 07:00am and 05:45am to 18:00pm, all working a 4on 4off shift pattern.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be directly contributing to this vision through your core tasks and responsibilities these will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all raw materials and finished products are to specification, including carrying out relevant on-line quality checks, daily QAS checks and Taste Panels.
  • Ensuring that processes and procedures are being complied with at all times across the site, including challenging non-conforming practices where identified.
  • Carrying out GMP Audits as to the schedule and reporting them promptly to the relevant departmental manager, recording your findings, actions and points scored.
  • Following up to ensure issues have been resolved and closed out adequately and communicating any graphs or significant trends to relevant staff.
  • Lab Sampling - Take required samples, swabs, water etc according to the schedule and send for appropriate analyses. Review completed results with the Quality Manager and take any measures that may be required.
  • Carry out CCP verification, scale checks and any other daily or weekly monitoring, e.g. temperatures of refrigerators, Titrations etc. Ensure that all checks are carried out at the appropriate time and that if any ‘reading’ is out of range that appropriate action is taken immediately.
