Description

We are seeking a confident communicator who ideally has previous experience in a similar role. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Perform QC inspections of materials and goods for production.
  • Ensure goods-in paperwork is completed and that all paperwork and reports are placed in the correct supplier folder.
  • Perform QC inspection on moulding, extrusion, assembly and packing operations. Ensure in line process inspection is completed.
  • Ensure that all production and quality paperwork is completed, and all samples are present. Report any non-completed paperwork.
  • Ensure that all coats have been put in the washing basket and have been taken upstairs to the washing room. Put the first load of washing in the machine.
  • Place a scrap sheet into the Quality work order folder as required for each work order. Ensure that all scrap is entered into the scrap sheets in a timely manner. Ensure scrap sheets are completed once the work order is complete.
  • Raise Quality Issue reports for goods in and production where necessary and ensure report forms are closed out. Report Quality issues back to senior staff and discuss issues regarding production with the production team.
  • Any reasonable tasks that may be assigned by Line Manager.

  • Excellent time management skills, including managing work tasks and prioritisation and working to deadlines.

Desirable

  • Good Computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Experience in a QA role or experience of quality inspection within current or previous roles
