Key Responsibilities Test Planning and Execution Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for the mobile banking app Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on iOS and Android platforms Conduct security and fraud counter measures testing to ensure the app complies with industry standards, BNM RMIT and protects user data Quality Assurance Ensure the mobile banking app meets the highest quality standards before release Validate that user expectations are met during the testing process, focusing on usability and user experience Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues Bug Identification and Tracking Identify, record, document, and track bugs using bug tracking software Work closely with development team to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues Automation Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and increase coverage Utilize mobile testing frameworks, and tools to enhance test efficiency Documentation Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test results, defect logs, and test status reports Create and update user manuals and other documentation as needed Person Specifications Bachelorʼs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience as a QA or Tester in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry Experience in testing mobile applications on both IOS and Android platforms Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Appium, Selenium, TestComplete) Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of security testing and industry standards for mobile banking application is a plus Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for mobile applications Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
